Availability and scheduled down time

Hi, I am just wondering what the availability to the API is? Is there any down time in the evenings or weekends or any scheduled maintenance?

We aim to keep the API available 24x7x365. We may occasionally require scheduled maintenance slots but we will notify those on the forum and web service. Even in those cases, we should be able to provide a ‘read-only’ version (ie search will be kept running but you will not be able to submit any filings - currently limited to change of registered office address anyway) as we did during the only maintenance slot we have taken to date (16-17th April 2016).
