Bad Gateway problems today

Hi,

I noticed that there was no data returned when I was using the API to search for information on ‘Pitney Bowes Limited’. I then tried the main Companies House Website and got ‘Bad Gateway’ and ‘No results found’ messages. Occasionally I got the correct list of companies. Each time there was a delay in getting the messages, so I suspect that the site was busy.

We did have a problem with the search service today from 10:30 to 10:55 and another briefer blip at 11:10 to 11:15.

We have introduced extra search nodes which should help stop this happening and are continuing to investigate root cause.
