Further Education institutes

Can I check that these upcoming bulk data changes below will also be applied to the API constants/enums? The master branch seems to be a bit neglected at the moment, with all recent changes only being applied to develop.

Copy of text received from CH bulk products team:

New legislation, The Technical and Further Education Act 2017, is coming into force on 31st January 2019. This will result in insolvency filings for Further Education (FE) institutes. Some, but not all, are registered companies. However, Companies House is required to accept and make publicly available filings for all FE’s. All insolvency types, except Members Voluntary Liquidation (MVL) are possible. In order to deal with the FE’s that are not registered as Limited companies, a form FE01 will be used to create an entity to allow the Insolvency forms to be logged against it. We believe that numbers are likely to be low, perhaps 1 or 2 a year but there is likely to be significant public interest in the filings.

In terms of how this will affect the bulk products, we will be adding these companies to our register as an “add record” transaction and giving them a company number that has a prefix of FE. This will mean that we need to amend some of the bulk products and their specifications to include FE companies.

@mfairhurst - any update on this for the API constants & filing enums? I’ve not seen any related dev branches in GitHub - companieshouse/api-enumerations
