How to create a new streaming API application

I tried to consume the company information streaming API (Streaming API: Basic company information stream) using my existing API key but it came back with a 401 error.

On this page (Streaming API:) it says " You will now be asked which type of application you are registering, choose Streaming API " when you register a new application.

However when you go to create a new application you aren’t asked that question there is no mention of streaming API.

If I can’t use my existing API key how to I create a new application that works with the streaming API?

It’s ok I worked it out.
It’s not the application itself, its the keys that are specific to streaming or REST types.
