Follow is not currently available as an API. I am not sure where this is in the roadmap either - will try and find out and update you.

I’m guessing the frontend is backed by an API, so is that explicitly restricted to not be available externally, or might it work if we can discover how?
If it becomes available for any kind of external beta testing at any point I’d love to be involved!
Also are there any plans to support webhooks? Getting an email notification would be better than us processing bulk data or polling the API, but webhooks would be so much simpler to work with!
Hi Ian,
The current ‘Follow’ is email based. I would not envisage the API, once released, functioning any different in terms of this.
If we do expose this in a beta form I will be sure to let you know.
