Contract Express integration - Companies House API Key

We currently use a Thomson Reuters product called Contract Express for our automated templates.

We would like to use your API to link Contract Express to Companies House and GB Group plc.

Thomas Reuters have informed us that:

For Companies House:

“When the API key has been obtained, add it to the CompaniesHouseDataKey value under the App web.config.

Ensure your IIS server can communicate with https://api.companieshouse.gov.uk/ via the internet for server to server calls.”

For GB Group plc:

"When the API key has been obtained, add the values to PostCodeFinderAccountCode and PostCodeFinderKey in the App web.config.

Ensure your IIS server can communicate with http://services.postcodeanywhere.co.uk/uk/lookup.asmx via the internet for server to server calls.”

Would you be able to help us with the API key so that we can get our internal system to speak to yours?

you simply will need to sign-up as a developer( Companies House API Overview) and generate the key once registered; this can be done 100% by you so no need to have anyone at companies house involved. pretty straight forward. One the key is generated you can apply it to your application.
