Using the PSC zip files (Companies House) to compare sets of PSC between dates I seem to be picking up changes where the eTAG changes but the underlying data has not changed, example company number=SC444343 between 11/08 and 11/09 below.
I was expecting eTAG to only change if the underlying data changes. Have I missed some kind of change here? I think over the last 6 months between 3% & 5% of PSC change from the zip files seems to lack any change in the actual data. On the example provided there don’t seem to have been other changes (there are no other PSC to change on the company, filing changes etc.)
I understand the zip file download is not supported, but assume I would have seen same behaviour had I been calling the streaming API.
Any ideas? I have tried to search and see if anyone else has seen this.
