We were super excited about the the availability of XBRL filings but have been let down in that the UKs largest companies are not filing the accounts to Companies House in iXBRL/XBRL even though they are filing in these formats to HMRC!
It seems as though the system bureaucracy is actively dis-incentivising companies from filing digitally by putting tighter deadlines on digital filings than physical postal filings. CH could be doing the opposite and incentivising the more modern format.
Can something be done to mandate or incentivise filings in the XBRL format to Companies House?
