API (Rest URI) to get financial data (assets, revenue )

Hi @MArkWilliams,

I was looking for Financial data for a company like a company’s Assets, revenue etc. Is this available through REST API?
I understand that in some of the filing history service we get Annual report PDF file which has some revenue, share holders data. So we need to read from PDF file. Its not easy to read the PDF file which may require more effort.
So do you think if we have any API which gives the financial data for an company or in future are you planning to have one.

one more thing, is this possible to get Beneficial owner for a company with any of the service.
