Registered Office Search

As far as I can see, the current search functionalities do not allow you to search by registered office address. Searching using a postcode with “/search” for example fails to return the full list of companies (in comparison to the website).

Is there a way I can search for companies by registered office address, or is there any plan to implement this at some point? This kind of functionality would be useful as it is a requirement to list all the companies that have registered offices in a building - using the CH API would save a lot of manual maintenance when there are a lot of companies registered to one building.

We have the capability to do this at Statbooks where the entire Active Register is held by postcode and updated daily. Address data can be searched and viewed OR searched, viewed and downloaded using either the original register entries (which are a very long way from quality data) or our PAF validated dataset.
