I have been making API calls to the main endpoint, api.company-information.service.gov.uk, within a restricted environment. This has worked, as the IP address is static and can therefore be easily added to an allow list to permit traffic.
When I try to download documents from the final URL in the chain that you need to work down – document-api.companieshouse.gov.uk – I am facing issues as the traffic hops unpredictably, so it is difficult to accommodate it within my allow list.
Please could I check, is there an alternative source or method for downloading documents that has a static IP address?
