We have noticed that we are getting inconsistencies in the ordering of Company Name when we use the API to search for Companies.
So, if we search for ‘TETRA TECH LIMITED’ we would expect to get
TETRA TECH LIMITED first followed by
TETRATECH LIMITED then
TETRA TECH CONSULTING (NI) LIMITED
However sometimes TETRATECH LIMITED doesn’t appear until the 2nd page of results and the Northern Irish company comes second.
This is important for us since we would mark that company as a possible duplicate.
The issue appears to also exist on the website, when you toggle between Companies to Officers and then Back to Companies.
