Multiple companies with the same name

Hello,

I was wondering what could be the reason of such duplicates in the data

From what I read about acceptable company names, I thought that the names must be unique throughout the register. Is it a technical problem?

Partnerships cannot be officially dissolved on our records but if you check the filing history they have all filed an “lp6” stating the partnership is dissolved,. They are then free to set up another partnership with the same name. I don’t think any of the entries are currently ‘live’ but there is no official route to dissolve them.
